Hey it's Melvin! posted a statusSeth MacFarlane, the creator of 'Family Guy' and 'American Dad,' went and made himself a movie. Not only that, but it's a live-action movie and he got Mark Wahlberg to star. 'Ted' is the story of a grown man with a very unusual roommate: a walking, talking (vulgarly at that), teddy bear named...Ted. His bizarre relationship with Ted becomes problematic when things start to get serious with his new girlfriend, played by Mila Kunis who also voices Meg on 'Family Guy.' MacFarlane himself voices the titular bear as well as taking on directing and writing duties (along with two of his 'Family Guy' cohorts Wellesley Wild and Alec Sulkin). Recently, the red band first trailer for the film hit the web, and, I gotta say, it looks pretty funny. I will grant that Ted's voice and Peter Griffin's voice aren't too far apart, which may irritate those who do not count themselves fans of that show, but the interaction between Ted and Wahlberg is so absurdly bro-tastic that you can't help but chuckle. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think (warning: very much NSFW).
'Ted' hits theaters July 13th.

Comment by Slurms McKenzie on April 3, 2012 at 1:34pm i don't understand what isn't hilarious about mark wahlberg being punched by a teddy bear saying "put in on my fuzzy finger you fuck!"
This looks great, but as per usual TRAILERS LIE

Comment by Richard Schmidt on April 3, 2012 at 12:36pm I hate the fact that filmmakers idea of funny is crude and rude jokes. Not saying that they shouldnt have those jokes but now a days it seems like thats all we get.
I didnt laugh once. The scenes between Mila Kunis and Mark Walberg seem fine enogh. Nothing special but I thought the chemistry worked . Whenever TEd came on screen I wanted to punch myself in the face. Sorry Seth but those jokes are not funny.Just because you say the F word or use sex as a joke doesnt mean we have to laugh at it !!!! They say that they show the best jokes in the trailer , if thats the case this movie looks like its going to be awful. In my opinion.......
If you are a hard core Seth fan than this ssems like it a full price , for everyone else this seems like this rental.
