First Trailer For 'Hansel And Gretel: Witch Hunters'
Continuing along the trend of re-imagined history and fairy tales, the first trailer for Tommy Wirkola's 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters' has hit the web. The movie features Jeremy Renner ('The Avengers') and Gemma Arterton ('Clash of the Titans') as the titular siblings. The setup and the style will most likely draw comparisons to 'Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter,' what with its over-the-top action set pieces and characters with a supernatural agenda. As I did not care for 'ALVH,' this troubles me. However, I had a lot of fun with Wirkola's 'Dead Snow' and there's more of a natural leap in Hansel and Gretelbecoming witch hunters, witches being something that actually existed within their world, than in an American president hunting the undead. I'm still optimistic. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Well I for one follow a sub-genre known as WitchHouse, and interesting form of music and art that brings out a new look and style of Witch, and it's freakin brilliant. And unless mainstream film captures what I'm talking about, I could care less with their attempts on regurgitating witches and goring up Vampires, things have got to get more slick when it comes to good imagination imo.
