Oren Peli - creator of the 'Paranormal Activity' series - returns with the first trailer and poster for his latest outing, 'Chernobyl Diaries'. Using his signature style of handheld footage and jump scares, the film looks to be like your typical horror movie premise with a group of people, stuck somewhere they shouldn't be, being hunted down by an unknown assailant(s). However, despite the "love it or hate it" nature of 'Paranormal Activity', I have a feeling that this will boil down to the same fundamental factor: how the audiences react in the theaters (including how much money they throw at it). When a group of six young tourists hire an "extreme tour" guide to take them through the deserted remains of Pripyat - the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor - they find themselves stranded as they slowly realize that they're not alone. Directed by Bradley Parker, 'Chernobyl Diaries' arrives in theaters on May 25th.
