First Trailer and Poster from Oren Peli's 'Chernobyl Diaries'

Oren Peli - creator of the 'Paranormal Activity' series - returns with the first trailer and poster for his latest outing, 'Chernobyl Diaries'. Using his signature style of handheld footage and jump scares, the film looks to be like your typical horror movie premise with a group of people, stuck somewhere they shouldn't be, being hunted down by an unknown assailant(s). However, despite the "love it or hate it" nature of 'Paranormal Activity', I have a feeling that this will boil down to the same fundamental factor: how the audiences react in the theaters (including how much money they throw at it). When a group of six young tourists hire an "extreme tour" guide to take them through the deserted remains of Pripyat - the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor - they find themselves stranded as they slowly realize that they're not alone. Take a look below and let us know what you think:

Directed by Bradley Parker, 'Chernobyl Diaries' arrives in theaters on May 25th.

Really!!! come on people go there every year now to tour and there trying to make this "extreme." T.T Im sorry but I cant see this working(course i hate hate Cloverfield) In Chernobyl when you have entire areas of the city covered in forest with deer, wolves and other wildlife.  Come to think of it that would make a pertty cool movie with the wildlife that moved in after the evacuations became insanly mutated and had a need for human flesh but no we need insane mutated bums. Oh no quick lets grab a pipe or metal rod to defend ourselves..... oh wait this is a found footage movie.. okay lets not do anything logic like tapeing the camera to the shoulder or thowing it away and simply hiding in a room till morning or just taking the main highway out. Lets just run around acting like dumb asses untill Chester A. Bum and his relatives kill them because  the entire movie will be ruined at the beginning of the film. Fuck this movie. Its one thing if it was the Island city of Japan that only allows a third of its city open to the public. that way you could actually have it where there were strange ghosts or creatures out to kill them but in Chernobyl... no. just No.

Now Maciek of Poland has an opinion on the premise of this movie and you guys call him a faggot and a pussy.  What the hell guys.  Maybe he had a uncle who died there or something. Maybe not and he is just offended.  What if in the next movie they had the ghosts of 9/11 attacking New Yorkers, would it not be understandable how one could be offended at making money off of that. I say just disagree with him, as I do.  Namecalling in this instance is stupid and low.

I can already see the Spill tag line for this: "If the potential risk of cancer doesn't kill you, the creatures sure will"

@Maciek of Poland, Don't worry about it. If the movie sucks, then you can to be as understandibly offended as you want.

Thanks Narcissist.
I'm sorry for coming out so agressive but I simply found the premise of this movie strongly disrespectfull

@D-Ferg, Shut the fuck up. Use your head before you smash your keyboard like a spazz. Maciek has legitimate concerns, their just approachable is all.

@Maciek of Poland, I am going to be perfectly honest with you my polish brother: I wouldn't give a crap. The moment I become offended is when it turns out to be a shitty movie.
