First Three Minutes Of 'Step Up Revolution'

Do I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with the 'Step Up' franchise (minus the first)? Possibly. Does that make the prospect of Scott Speer's 'Step Up Revolution' any less amazing? No. Don't believe me? Well we've got the opening three minutes of the movie for you right here! It looks like this time around the dance set pieces are designed to create a series of the most incredible flash mobs of all time. Acrobatics, hydraulics, and sick dance moves? Come on, what more do you want? Take a look at the clip below and let us know what you think.

'Step Up Revolution' hits theaters July 27th

They should totally put everybody in ninja suits and turn this into a Gymkata remake.  When gymnastics and karate are fused the combustion becomes an explosion!

Before I saw this clip I had absolutely NO interest in the movie and now after watching this, I feel....exactly the same.

Burp.

Seriously, every single thing about this (except for maybe the brief moment when the black girl wiggles her rump) makes me want to stick my head into a vat of toxic waste.

Is this made for people who so can't get enough of the junk on MTV, that they're willing to pay to see it on a bigger screen? I'm talking about the style, not the athleticism of the dancers of course.

This clip isn't selling me...

Hmmm... Saving my opinion for when I actually see the movie. I will point out that if this first dance number is any indication, there's gonna be a lot more pussy-popping in this one. That kind of clashes with the tone from the previous installment, which was seriously awesome, but still really wholesome overall. *Shrug*

It's funky fresh!

@kelvin: my apologies for snapping. Twitch is dope. I remember watching him come up on So You Think You Can Dance. I saw in Stomp the Yard: Homecoming. I did realize it was choreographed. I didn't particularly like that specific routine.

@Brad G: My b. I ddn't specify who I was talking to with the "Stop Hatin" comment. It was a blanket statement. You did however call it crap. The dances in here are meant to be choreographed. Twitch was in this scene, but is a dope freesyle dancer. I just didn't understand what you were trying to say.
