The first two posters from 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' may not be all that impressive, but they do offer a look at the familiar faces of Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and Watson (Jude Law) as well as a new look at Noomi Rapace as the gun-wielding gypsy Sim, and the very first glimpse of Jared Harris as Sherlock's famed nemesis Professor Moriarty:

Directed by Guy Ritchie, 'Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows' arrives in theaters on December 16th.

Love Sherlock Holmes, and love Robert Downey Jr, so I'm looking forward to this film. But these posters are so blandly hollywood: show off the actor and nothing more.
