'The Texas Chainsaw Massacre' was one of the boldest and most shocking horror films of its era, hence the enormous amount of respect many horrorphiles harbor for the film. However, I don't think you have to be an avid fan to feel uneasy about the idea of a 3D sequel to 'TCM.' The first remake was decent, but other than that the followups to Tobe Hooper's 1974 classic have not been stellar. Now we've got a new movie that will apparently draw connections to the first film, and is in 3D! Not sounding promising. This first poster for 'Texas Chainsaw 3D' is fine, but does little to curb my trepidations. The multiple Leatherface masks seems to be a nod to the legacy of the franchise, but the dropping of the word "massacre" and the weak Photoshop job on the top shelf is frustrating. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

Poster is ok. Nothing special.

@The1withthepen: thank you. You can make all the fancy posters you want. There is no scary or awkward moments to modern horror because we KNOW the actors/actresses trying to escape a WB show and market their "Winners of the Genetic Lottery" looks are looking to copy past work. Problem with that, it resembles a music video than it does a believable set.

The weird thing is one of the faces actually looks like one of my teachers at the academy! :o

They already "massacred" this franchise years ago.

Very creepy poster.  Maybe one of the most creative posters this year.

Too bad it has to be a movie I have no interest in seeing at all.  Unless a Horror sequel goes in the route of Aliens OR Evil Dead II there is no point in doing this.

I've got a bad feeling about this...
