First Look At The 'Red Dawn' Remake
I have never been a fan of 'Entertainment Tonight,' or frankly any of those tabloid-y entertainment TV shows. However, since MGM has failed to release a trailer at this point for their remake of 'Red Dawn,' I will gladly watch footage from the movie via any source. I unabashedly love 1984's 'Red Dawn,' as silly and Cold War paranoid as it may be. The footage in this promo shows definitively that the remake will hold true to much of the original's story. The parachutes dropping in, the kids driving away amidst the invasion, and hiding in the woods to plan their eventual retaliation. Chris Hemsworth appears to be stepping into the Patrick Swayze role...and that kind of rocks. Take a look at this promo/first look below and let us know what you think. Try to ignore the voiceover. Hopefully we'll be getting a full trailer soon, so maybe just think of this as a trailer teaser.

So originally the enemy was China when they finished production of this movie in 2010. Which in terms of the movie makes sense since they are a strong enough country to pull out a full scale invasion of the US. However China has a huge market of movie goers and they don't like being demonized so MGM changed it to the North Koreans (since no one like them), thus making the movie complete garbage since NK can't even invade SK and they are on the same peninsula. There is simply no way to salvage this movie.

To the people talking about propoganda if you knew anything about North Korea you would shut the fuck up with your peacenick bullshit.
You should be be aware they train children in school to hate america and pray for the day of our utter destruction, they have concentration camps in their country for citizens that do anything their leaders don't like, their leader is considered a god he brainwashes all the people and incarcerates or murders dissenters. The internet and cell phones are illegal in north Korea and the only books in the entire country are those written by the Kim Jong family line. It is one of the most oppressive regimes since Nazi germany and the truth is they need to be wiped off the face of the planet even more so then Iran.
When I was in Iraq there was a story about the now deceased former leader was doing nucler weapon testing where he brazenly launched unarmed warheads toward Hawaii. If that doesnt make you think about a world where those fucktards get nukes I don't know what will. Thank god for cyber attacks because if the CIA wasnt stymying countries like N Korea and Iran world war 3 would already be upon us and If it wasnt for real men that knew how to use a gun you beatnick fags would be drafted so pls stfu and go knit a quilt at grandma's house.

If North Korea were more then an ant compared to our military this would make a lick of sense. They are also a very poor country because of international sanctions despite having some military prowess they are hardly a real threat to us. A hand full of troops holds them off at the DMZ and we have nuclear weapons a vastly superior Navy and ICBM's this has to be a radically alternate reality for it to make any sense and if thats the case why not just make it Russia like in the original.
