Director Jon Favreau says about the film, "How many superheroes are open about their true identities? We wanted to play with that idea. But it obviously has consequences — in his relationships, on the team. There are a lot of areas we can explore."
Iron Man 2 has a May 7th, 2010 release date.

umh.... M-Gizzle... the suits from left to right are the Mk. 1 cave escape suite, the Mk. 2 first flight suit, the Mk 3. take out terrorists and Iron Monger suit and pesumably the newest suit the Mk. 4 this movie suit. War Machine nowhere to be seen.

I wasn't in love with the first film either. I enjoyed it but overall, meh. It was still a huge improvement by Marvel Studios standards so I've got my fingers crossed (figuratively) for 2. Downey is the perfect Tony Stark but, we'll see.
Hope it's not another X-men Origins.... uggggghhhhh....

You know, I really hope that this one is better than the first. I realize that I'm the only person who didn't fall in love with the first film. I just thought that it was okay. But I really hope they don't screw this one up.
