First Image Of Russell Crowe From Aronofsky's 'Noah'

There's been a lot of news over the last year about Darren Aronofsky's 'Noah,' mostly due to its revolving door of casting announcements. The current roster includes Jennifer Connelly, Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, and Russell Crowe as the titular Biblical ship captain. Today, the first image of Crowe as Noahhit the web. I wish it were a better image, in fact it could be just as easily be a pic of Crowe in any period epic...or just during a bad week. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

@Ruben Planas: He's just telling a fantasy story that he could probly do cool stuff visually with.  He doesn't have to be religious to do that; just happens to be based on a story some people believe to be true, but who cares either way long as he makes a good movie.

You don't have to be religious to appreciate biblical art and story telling.

So he's basically.. Russel Crowe.

I can't weight for this movie but I'm dreading the stupid controversy it's almost certain to create.

I'm very confused as to why aronofsky would make a film about noah's arc of all things. he's never presented himself as a religious person, in his work or in real life and even "the fountain" which is easily his most spiritual story, was more agnostic than christian.

Is it me, or does Crowe have that same look in every poster/image?

Will there be dinosaurs in this movie?
