nkWhiteStar posted a statusI love the core Universal monsters so much that I will enthusiastically watch any film that utilizes them. Sure, I got burned by 'The Wolfman,' but that doesn't mean I don't hold out hope for Stuart Beattie's 'I, Frankenstein.' Based on the graphic novel by Kevin Grevioux, 'I, Frankenstein' is a modern fantasy in which Dr. Frankenstein's legendary monster (played here by Aaron Eckhart) must now defend the world from an impending invasion of dark forces. Today, the first set image from the film hit the web. In it, we see Eckhart glaring as the monster. It's not a great shot of him, but it's clear his monster makeup is going to be far more understated than I would have expected. Granted, I haven't read the comic book, so I'm just working off previous cinematic incarnations of the creature. Take a look at the image below and let us know what you think.

Comment by MetalEyez07 on April 17, 2012 at 3:12pm Am I the only one who thinks that it's Aaron Eckhart trying to look like a Frankenstein-Ryan Reynolds???
Comment by Zach Chapman on April 17, 2012 at 2:52pm Yeah, nice duster. But that balla needs some better makeup.
