We have your first look at Sean Penn (decked out in his aged goth attire) in 'This Must Be The Place'. The drama - helmed by Italian director Paolo Sorrentino - features Penn as fictional ex-80s glam band rocker Cheyenne, who appears to be somewhat of a cross between Robert Smith, Boy George, and Ozzy Osbourne. When his father dies and leaves behind evidence of the humiliation he suffered at the hands of the Nazis and his obsession with tracking down the men responsible, Cheyenne decides to finish his deceased father's work and avenge the wrongs done to him:
Beyond the ridiculous hair and weird, monotone, almost childlike delivery of his lines, this looks to be an interesting role for Penn, and hopefully will involve a lot more depth and pathos than this sneak peek reveals. Also starring Frances McDormand, 'This Must Be the Place' will be in theaters later this year.

Stop trying to understand it, you'll only upset yourself, sorry but there's nothing you can do about it anyway!
