'Fast Five' Writer: 'Fast Six' On the Way

In a time when production deals are being slashed left and right, Universal has signed a surprising two-year contract with screenwriter Chris Morgan to write and produce exclusively for their studio. Morgan, who wrote the third, fourth and fifth installments of the 'Fast and the Furious' franchise, will kick off his production deal by writing (*gasp*) a sixth film, called 'Fast Six' (which sounds like a derogatory nickname you'd earn in college):
"I grew up on Raiders, Lethal Weapon, Die Hard... Those are in my wheel house. Those are the movies I want to find, I want to help make. They're genre movies but heroic ones, ones that have a hyper-real sense to them. Summer movies."
Morgan's latest offering - 'Fast Five' - will be in theaters April 29th and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Tego Calderon and Sung Kang.

I want Fast and Furious to go on having installments until I die. Sexy Cars, Sexy Women, Badass Dudes. I mean you need to give up your man card if you dislike these movies. Shit if little kids can have Twilight and Harry Potter, I can have my Fast and Furious sequels. I love them so much!

They are making a sixth one of these films and still they made six star wars movies that are now being remade into 3D which is probably the worst thing of all they are making the hobbit a two parter they made 7 harry potter movies out of 6 books they made the god awful Twilight saga and still some one has not been able to write a forth matrix movie instead we have got a bunch of shitty games and one amazing animated movie fuck what is this world coming to and where the fuck is the final chronicles or riddik this is riddikulous

I dig pretty chicks and I have custom cars.. Love action and really dont care all the time for a OMG perfect plot so I can attempt to be over sensitive about who said what and why along with will they win an oscar....This is a film for MEN who just want to see normal cool shit....I liked them all accept that horrible Tyreese character who pisses me off in anything he does anyway. I'm looking forward to it...

@QbanKnight, I've heard that same thing said about the second one. Maybe we should just pretend the second and third one never happened, if you think about it, the story of the fourth one doesn't suffer at all if you do.

This series is both so damn stupid and so damn fun (at times). Tokyo Drift is the inbred runt of the litter that everyone pretends never happened even though it totally did
