Fantastic Fest Birthday
Hey, if anyone's wondering what to get me for my birthday (Sept. 20th - I might be getting some people together for drinks or whatever) I could really, really use a VIP badge for Fantastic Fest.
And here comes the self-humilating pandering:

Oh for the love of God, I beg you! BEG YOU! Hahahaha...
Okay, seriously though - I really want to go to Fantastic Fest this year (maybe even cover it, either with text reviews or video depending on how much free time I want to give up for it). It's in Austin, I'm in Austin... it's awesome and sorta weird, I'm awesome and sorta weird... it has Gentlemen Broncos, I went to elementary school where the mascot was a Bronco... see? It was meant to be. :)
I'm going to try to track down a VIP badge (they're sold out, so it'll have to be from a third party), but if anyone wants to start a collection or kick down or whatever, I'll make damn sure to praise your name in the reviews like you're the second coming of Jehovah and whatnot. Hell, I'll even make a drawing of you with a halo and glorious flowing robes. I'll do it, I swear. I am willing to pimp out my mad artistic skills just to go to this, that's how much it means to me.
I guess if I can't get a VIP badge, I'll try to pick up a regular one, but I really wanted an invite to the parties and all the bonus stuff so I can hobknob with the moderately famous and internet darlings (plus, I want to cupcheck Alex Billington from FirstShowing.net because he's too damn excited about too many crappy movies).
If all else fails, anyone who wants to go out drinking with me the weekend of the 20th, you're more than welcome to come. I'm going to try to convince Korey and the other site animators to go out too. (yeah, I just name-checked him so that more people show up, what of it? Don't you judge me, I want a big party this year, okay? Pfffffftttt...)
