Exclusive Watchmen "Nite Owl Ship" Packaging
Amazon has unveiled another exclusive Blu-ray product offering, this time involving one of the hottest titles of this summer: 'Watchmen'. Next July 21, the etailer will be the only one to offer the 'Amazon Exclusive Nite Owl Ship Edition' BD, a custom-made figure-cum-disc-case depicting the airship that Watchmen member Nite Owl flies.
As you can see from the figures above, the discs go in two slots in the pedestal of the figure. The miniature airship seems to be about 5 by 8 inches, and the pedestal a bit bigger. Apparently, the lights on the ship illuminate.
List price is a hefty $119.99, which even with the usual amazon discount ends up being a rather large sum. Whether the packaging is worth it for someone is something only he or she can decide.
