'Evil Dead' Red-Band Trailer
Well, here it is, the first trailer for Fede Alvarez's 'Evil Dead.' The remake of Sam Raimi's classic has garnered buzz after this trailer and additional footage premiered at New York Comic-Con, and now we can join in on the conversation. The red-band trailer is well-edited and professes that the movie will be super gory. Beyond that, color me unimpressed. The entire charm of the original 'Evil Dead' is how much Raimi and his compatriots were able to accomplish despite their limited resources. To take that film and make it as ultra slick as this looks seems a fundamental misunderstanding of the source. That's just my two cents. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Did I see a tentacle vine????? I would watch this just because Jane Levy is in it.
I should watch Cabin In The Woods, before I see this movie.

I did forget Evil Dead one was pretty serious, and I didn't really like it all that much, if this one can be above forgettable I'll be happy, and I love what I see about the possession so far, the way she looks definetly dosen't scream I'm possessed, she looks sick

Oh and by the way this one looks like they have turned the people into zombies that cut and disfigure themselves. The first evil they were taken over by demon they weren't slow.

Fuck this remake. fuck it long. Fuck it hard. them chop its limbs off with an ax. throw it in a wood cutter, burn it, dump the ashes into acid, then burn it again, and finally dump it it into a lead box filled with mercury into a ten foot deep hole. then fill it up with cement so no one will ever see this piece of shit.

No offense to some people here but in the first evil dead it wasn't funny it was actually scary and yes the characters once they got taken over by a demon did cut and disfigure themselves so its really nothing new here.

@HellFeast Those who saw it at Comic-con confirmed full-on tree rape. Doesn't seem like a big plus to me, but this ain't my type of movie.
