Epic Four-Minute 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' Clip

The first thing that really grabbed me in the marketing for Jon Chu's 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' was the battle sequence featuring ninjas repelling down mountains. Seriously, it looked like the movie Sho Kosugi would make if he had a limitless budget. This latest clip from the movie is essentially that entire sequence. Barring a few moments of dodgy CG, it's actually quite spectacular and wildly entertaining. Now granted, this clip does give away the entire scene so you may not want to watch if you're anti-spoiler. Otherwise, take a look at the clip below.

'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' hits theaters March 29th

Just saw the movie at a theatre and Tatum dies in the first 15 minutes. Better than the first but it is not saying much

@corey vire:  how can you say resolute is good, but then say G.I.Joe was never good?  back in the 80s, the animated Joe was pretty bad in retrospect (as a huge Joe fan, i admit and accept that), but the marvel comics run was great for the most part.  i've recently read through the entire series, and there are a lot of really good stories in the first 100 issues.  i'm also guessing you've never read the IDW G.I.Joe comics which are still in print....since you partially enjoyed resolute, you should grab an issue and give it once over next time you're in the comic shop. it's worth it.

that said, i found that last film totally unwatchable, and this next film looks to be a rental at best.  as a hardcore Joe fan, we expect better of the property.  it's been proven there are some fun and quality stories in the ARAH universe worth telling on the big screen.....unfortunately, hollywood likes shit and "brands".

Fuck that! Some people are actually fans of GIJOE and don't wanna see it trashed. John M. Chu directed STEP UP and the fucking Justin Beiber movie. Of course it will be bad.

Love how people are trashing it. It's G. I. Joe. It was never good. This is far better than any of the animated stuff. Except for maybe G. I. Joe resolute.

@ Superbadmike

I totally agree man. Like the saying goes, you can polish a turd but at the end of the day it's still a turd. GIJOE:RETALIATION is the epitome of polished turds.

Sweet!  Now I don't have to watch the film because I watched its only (potentially) good scene! :OD

The first one was shat, I don't get why Spill is posting so much shit about it, dosen't look like it deserves this attention. Looks like a Transformers film, the first one was.

I like how you guys were complaining about the CG in OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN but you like THIS shit!

@Allan

I totally agree. Bruce looks bored as hell in this movie.
