Epic 5-Minute Trailer For 'Cloud Atlas'
The Wachowski's ('The Matrix') and Tom Tykwer ('Run Lola Run') have teamed up for what looks to be something incredible in 'Cloud Atlas.' The first trailer has hit the web and it's a massive five-minute exploration of the movie's various facets. I feel it may give away a bit too much, but then again the scope of this thing is enormous, so who knows? Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Cloud Atlas is probably my favorite book of the past decade. I really hope the Wachowski's realize how fantastic their source material is, and make the best of it.

I think I understand what is going on in the trailer, though I had to watch it 3 times to get it. However, I am not going to worry about whether I am right or not until it comes out. I will just watch the film and let it explain itself then...........hopefully :P

Two things:
1.) Holy frick that is a huge cast! I think there are even more people in this that aren't listed.
2.) How long will this movie be? Judging by the size of the cast, the variety of plot elements and the feelings I'm getting, this seems like something that should be about three hours at least. Unless it is a tightly constructed script, I will be surprised if they can cover this in a reasonable amount of time. Then again, the Wachowski's are known for their rambling in storytelling (Yes, even in their better movies they have a tendency for mumbo jumbo rambling).This can only be a wait and see type of movie. I have no idea what to make of it now.

Why do I feel exhuasted after watching that trailer? Either way, this feels like its either gonna be really good or a mess. No in between for this one.
