'Dredd' Mondo Poster
As we prepare to be judged by, and to likewise judge, Pete Travis' 'Dredd' this weekend, the good folks over at Mondo News have released a poster to commemorate the occasion. This design is by comic book artist, and recent Mondo collaborator, Jock. I like the shading and the rough graphic novel feel of Dredd's face. What makes me laugh is that 'Dredd's plot has been jokingly referred to as rip-off of that of 'The Raid: Redemption,' and Jock also did Mondo's poster for...'The Raid: Redemption.'Take a look at the poster below and let us know what you think.

I guess you might think it was an animated film but it would suit the subject being an iconic comic book character I think, I guess i'm just a sucker for illustrated stuff -

It is pure Dredd! This film shits
all over the bad Sly Stallone memories.Go and see it this weekend, so we can get some bigger budget R rated sequels.

Yep I'm not saying use those illustrations, use the artist. Get Bisley doingUrban and characters from the movie!

anyway I canny wait to see this one! it looks colourful and cartoony and violent and pretty much what you want from a Dredd movie and 100 miles away from stinky Stalone

@ Travis Pickle - Those illustrations are beautiful, don't get me wrong, but wouldn't really fit well with the style of the film. Looks too cartoony, for lack of a better word.
