If it's crap ... We'll tell you
Every once in a while a "brand new" trailer will be released which is really nothing more than a re-edit of the footage we've already seen in previous trailers or TV spots. The recently released Japanese trailer for Joss Whedon's 'The Avengers' on the other hand is a veritable font of previously unseen footage from the film. We see the portal through which the gargantuan flying enemies enter our world, we catch a glimpse of Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and the Helicarrier in flight! I am geeking out like a maniac. Oh, and as a big 'How I Met Your Mother' fan, I was thrilled to see Cobie Smulders pop up as Agent Maria Hill. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think.
'The Avengers' (finally) hits theaters May 4th

Comment by BattleAngelAlchemist on March 22, 2012 at 12:26pm Does anyone know the song almost near the end of this trailer?
Comment by BattleAngelAlchemist on March 22, 2012 at 12:25pm @ GueyDuck I guess they good at marketing than here: most trailers tend to have loud noises in the background and explosions lol :P
Comment by Trent on March 22, 2012 at 7:38am jesus will this movie come out so we don't have to keep seeing 5million trailers showing an extra 2 seconds of footage
@ LabiosGrandez- LOLOL!!!
Why do the Japanese do the best trailers?
Comment by obscurefan on March 22, 2012 at 2:47am (Me before watching this trailer) Oh jeez another one, come on guys you've overexposed the hell out of this, you're taking the fun out of it. It's not like you're going to even show anything new.
(Me after watching the trailer) EEEEEEEE, is it May 4th yet?
Comment by HudsonsirhesHicks on March 22, 2012 at 2:16am This film has gotta be the most over exposed film ever. And it ain't even out yet! I guess they can't chance this film not making sky high returns - if for no other reason than to recoup the huge outlay of so many well known actors mega salaries.
