Disney Wants Boys to go see a Princess movie .
For those of you who have been aware of Disney's next princess movie Rapunzel, you might have been aware of the title change. Nothing big but still keeping the main character's name in the title .
That's is until last week it was change again To the following
Now I ask myself "why would they change the title from a popular Brothers Grimm's story to something that sounds like another hollywood romance comedy?". Lucky for me I learn about the title change and the reason why on the same day (today , I been missing in action). Turns out they want to attract the boy audience .Yes , Only NOW did they finally realize that Boys don't want to see a movie with "princess" in the title. Also Boys don't like the color pink !

I'm sorry Disney but this idea of yours is not going to work . I'm not trying to believe that Disney is Greedy and Evil But... Your'e not happy that The Princess And The Frog make $222 Million ?!
Plus changing the title of a Princess movie to fool boys into coming in is a fail plan because they will need to SEE THE TRAILER in order to see what they are in for . Boys who hate Princess movies will hate a Princess movie no matter what the title is and the only results you can expect are little boys asking for their money back .
I know that you want a film that attracts a big audience but if you want all those boys who hate Disney's Princesses movies to come and sit down and love it your kidding me. Next thing you know Hanna Montana's title gets change to "Rock Star" in hopes of making all those Montana haters come and watch it .You already have Pixar to do the job of getting that boy audience and let's not forget all those Cars toys that are flying off shelves
If only it was a Pixar movie , now I'm starting to believe this movie might be the next G-Force and not The Princess And The Frog.
If this is the first sign that Rapunzel is becoming another Shrek-like movie than you are better off waiting for Toy Story 3.

Here's an insane idea...why not try something that isn't a god forsaken grimms fairy tale!!!!?!?!?!?!~?!??!?!?!?!?! Being original is a unique idea I know.

There's going to be a picture of a girl on the posters, right? It'll be on the trailers, won't it? Then they'll know it's about a girl, right? What's wrong with making a princess movie with a name to match? Some of Disney's most famous works are ones such as "The Little Mermaid" and "Snow White". If you want boys to watch more of your movies, why not try to make more movies with male protagonists? Changing the name of a classic fairy tale to attract a male audience is a stupid idea.

Once again Disney is trying to blame something on someone else, just like they did back in 2004 when they thought "Wait!....the reason no one want's to see our movies anymore is because they are in 2D" Personally I loved Princess and the Frog, it's one of my top 10 films of '09. To me the reason the movie didn't do as well is because they released it right around the time Avatar came out. Of course your not going to make a lot of money, Avatar was the most talked about movie of the year! Sometimes I wonder if anyone at that company uses common sense...

Doesn't look as good as Princess and the Frog to me. I could be wrong though.
I think it's just because Rapunzel falls back on the "Sassy, I-can-take-care-of-myself Chick" cliche.

i don't care what anyone saids but if you think about the whole rapunzel story... rapunzel was a slut think about it she is mysteriously banished from her tower and when he finds her she had 2 boys which were the same age that the last time the prince saw her
