It appears that Disney has decided to make a last-minute change and replace the voice of Robot Chicken creator Seth Green in their upcoming motion-capped 'Mars Needs Moms' with 12 year old Seth Dusky's. A reliable source tells us that while Green did all the motion-capture scenes for the character of Milo, they wanted a child's voice for the performance.
Here is a trailer from late last year where you can clearly hear Seth Green's recognizable voice as the main character, Milo:
However, in the latest TV spot which premiered during the Super Bowl, his voice has been replaced with Dusky's:
Produced by the same team behind 'Disney's A Christmas Carol' and 'The Polar Express', 'Mars Needs Moms' centers around nine-year-old Milo who finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she's kidnapped by Martians. Based on the book by Berkeley Breathed, it's scheduled for wide release on March 11th, 2011.

Compare when they say.."Let her go!"
I adore Seth Green, but I think this was a good move on Disney's part. Dusky sounds adorable.
Looking fwd to seeing it, especially being a Mom. Anyone who loves their Mother should want to see this..

Comment by MPerce on February 9, 2011 at 8:03pm Good for Seth Green. He does not need his name connected to this film.
The trailer makes me want to kill something small and adorable.
Comment by Richard Dempsey on February 9, 2011 at 3:55pm They did that with polar express right?
This is going to be another all 3-D expierience film and no plot, story or anything very daring.

Comment by Aaron on February 9, 2011 at 11:36am I could have sworn that the voices were different when I watched the preview.
But I'm still not seeing it, it still looks like shit.
Comment by Knight7sk on February 9, 2011 at 8:37am I hope this is one of those instances where the trailer is worst than the actual movie. Logically they will make the trailer more kid friendly to pull in the parents when in fact the movie is a lot better and more mature. I'm usually turned off by most trailers for animated movies that turn out to be fantastic (Meet the Robinsons and Megamind comes to mind).
I'm gonna keep an open mind on this one.
Comment by CHEEZYSPAM on February 9, 2011 at 8:18am I didn't care to see this movie before, but now that they've changed voice actors.... yeah, no still not interested.
Nothing about this movie's premise looks ANY good.
