The first movie of this series was a gem to me, I've never seen a kids film with such a total douchebag of a lead character, it was like watching one of the darkest comedies ever, because the main kid was pretty much pure evil and it gave me joy.

Forget the sequels, but I believe the first one is underrated, it's just a different kinda comedy that doesn't want you to like it's lead character, but that's what I admire about it.

Everyone, You can hate this movie and this series but you have to give it points that "Unlike Twilight" combined 2 of the books into 1 film as opposed to splitting a book into 2 parts.

Actually, the kid who plays Greg was the young Moe in the recent Three Stooges movie.
