Great review! I agree on a lot of the things you guys said.

For anyone that's interested in seeing more reviews on Diablo 3, please check out my video. There was quite a lot of effort that went into this review. Anyway, here it is:

No i see Your point and yeah if I can get my copy to work (stupid 36 CD Code bullcrap) I can see that being a problem.

No worries El Kabong

I definitely see your point...if people want to hack through an off-line mode and mess with the single player experience then it shouldn't matter right?...the only problem with that is much of the inner workings data (map layouts, enemy locations etc.) would have to be stored locally instead of on the servers which would let hackers have a field day, using the data to create ton of different ways to mess with the multiplayer...like they did with Diablo 2

@ MasterEVOPK

Well the hacks i was referring to were the item duplication/botting hacks that destroyed the Diablo 2 "economy" in the early days..my mistake, should of clarified...as far as the account hacking goes..i think they've set up just about the best protection available with the authenticator

@MasterEVOPK and El Kabong

Hacking really shouldn't be an issue at all in what is primarily a single-player, completely non-competitive game.

@ el kabong

I don't think it helped at all people are still getting hacked in this game and besides they could of done it like they did with Starcraft 2, (knowing full well they are two different genre of games) where you can still play the game without internet. I think there was some benefits to it but honestly i'm less worried about hackers than i'm about running the game properly when it decides not to work.

Hackers>Error 37

While I agree that it does suck having any part of the game be subject to lag...i can kinda understand Blizzard's reasoning behind keeping everything online...being connected to battle.net helps cut way back on, if not eliminate, the hacks that ran rampant in Diablo 2...I'd like to damn Blizzard for requiring a connection to play but if I were put in their shoes i cant say i wouldn't do the same...if i spent that long building a game, I'd be damned if i let some 15 year old shit head hacker mess with it

Fuck this broken-ass game!

A solid meh. It's alarming that it took Blizzard a decade to make this game. Without ranting about the terrible server issues, you click on things...a lot. The campaign is ridiculously short. The setting, atmosphere and story are somewhat interesting, but not good enough to make up for the repetitive gameplay. Wait until they lower the price.
