Truth be told, I was hooked by the first trailer for Jon Chu's 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation' despite the fact that I didn't care for the first film. The sequel seemed slightly grittier, but with action sequences that looked to rival if not exceed those of the original. This latest trailer lends us a little more insight as to the extent of Cobra's infiltration of the White House, a few more comedic quips, and a state-sized crater full of destruction. Joe Colton (Bruce Willis) demands Girl Scout cookies and Cobra levels what appears to be an entire goddamned city! I'm still excited, but to be honest this trailer makes the sequel look more like 'G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra,' and that's not encouraging. Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

Comment by mjtfreeze on April 24, 2012 at 4:16pm As long as the Rock is continually in this movie, I know I will watch it.
Comment by Daniel Truong on April 24, 2012 at 4:13pm I never was a fan of GI Joe even when I was a kid. This trailer looks ok but Bruce Willis's one liners made me chuckle

Comment by PoopaPapaPalpatine on April 24, 2012 at 3:20pm Cobra Commander looks appropriately cool this time. That's a major plus in my book.

Comment by Dilster3000 on April 24, 2012 at 2:32pm I know it's shown in the end of the first movie.. But why show the president spoiler in the trailer?
Comment by GodofThunder16 on April 24, 2012 at 2:18pm @crazy-fool What are you talking about? The Rock is a moneymaker. His movies always do well and he's the biggest action star in Hollywood right now. His career is going nowhere, but up.
