Depp In Talks to Join 'The Tourist'

Variety reports that Johnny Depp is in talks to join Angelina Jolie in The Tourist, which is targeting a February production start.
Depp would play an American tourist drawn into a web of intrigue by a female Interpol agent (Jolie) who is attempting to locate a criminal who was once her lover.
The actor is replacing Sam Worthington, who dropped out over creative differences, as has director Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck. Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men) is in early talks to take over the director's chair.
At one time, Bharat Nalluri was attached to direct with Tom Cruise and Charlize Theron in the lead roles.

Darnit, for a second I thought this was gonna be an adaptation of the Brian Wood graphic novel. Which would be pretty awesome.
