I've play this game for about 90 hours total and have beaten it twice. I think i can pretty much review this now. 

We're gonna start off with what i didn't like. 

First the Online play, not only is the game horrid with lag. I don't like that some random jackass can role up into your game with any weapon (I.E. Furysword) even if they've completed more of the game than you but they are the same level (because there is crazy people who do low level runs) and kill you. When your trying to save your humanity its pretty hard when a lot of areas require more than 5 swigs of the flask. But it is what it is. You can play in offline more or hollow so you can get around it. 

Second is the lack of motivation. If you don't like the challenge of this game (or don't have someone helping/telling you to keep playing) there is not a lot of motivation. There is no charming characters (except for 2) no story to grasp onto most of it is hidden. So it is really based on how much you like this challenge or how much you're willing to look for the story. I think Dark Souls 2 is addressing this because the trailers show some relation to a woman in the game. So it may be like ok this is hard but i wanna get back to her.

Lastly i wanna say they way you need to be very quick with your commands (I.E. Parrying and Riposting) its easy to do something you don't want to and screw yourself over. Also there is some Input lag. And 2 Bullshit Bosses. (Spoiler Free). 

Now for the stuff I liked.  The feeling of accomplishment in this game is tremendous. There's something about a game wanting to beat you down till you can't get back up and your beating it. It will give you that feeling of fuck you i got this. So playing through this and getting past these tough parts you feel good. I at points turned into Daniel Bryan and just went. YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! Or also into Daniel Bryan Shouting NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Either way Daniel Bryan. 

The combat in this game is combat system i want in a lot of other games. It's easy to learn. easy to use. and a shit ton of variety. Magic Weapons. Faith Weapons. Pyromancies. 1 Handed weapons. 2 handed weapons. Bows. Ect. So it really does let you play your own way. Which in turn gives a lot of replay Value. 

So with everything being said I really liked this game. I give it a Low Full Price. (which at this point is like 20 bucks). 

Just Prepare to die and don't break your controllers.
