Great review.  I liked what Cyrus and Leon said about this being a critique on those man-child films.    It just  felt like Todd Solondz was telling me to laugh at this character, but then he switches gears and wants me to find some sympathy for him.   Fuck that.  I'm still going to laugh at him.  No matter what problems he has.

Leon, I felt the same way, I thought A Serious Man was like a total masterpiece all the way up until the end, it hit all my right buttons for the entire run and didn't give me any kinda strong final thought to go out on.

Still think it's a great film, the building toward the end is nearly flawless from the Coens, if they could have hit us hard at the end, I would have called it a masterpiece.
