Cyrus Finally Presents his Best of/Worst of 2010 List, Only Six Months Late

After half a year of waiting, I guess I can finally come to terms with the fact that it looks like we're never going to do a 'Top Ten' list for 2010. This makes me sad, because I really love recording those episodes. Perhaps next year we'll be right back on track. So, for the edification of the fans who STILL keep asking (not that I blame you), here's the lists of Best and Worst for 2010, from my perspective at least.

What's important to keep in mind here is that I might have actually seen some stuff since I made this list that came out in 2010 that might have made the list, so there might be notable exclusions. But then again, not too many, as I saw almost everything that came out last year.

I loved the king's speech though some of the camera work was weird and off putting, I presume it was by design.
I tire of Scott pilgrim at the same position every time, the twins, it could of been tighter.
Kickass was good, but I dislike the shifts in tone as the jetpack ending is just out of place.

For the people who say the social network is perfect, I disagree as that movie only had one good scene and it was the boat race everything else was so dull. Would of left the theater if I wasn't everyone ride.

Toy story 3 was technically good and I love pixar but I watched Jona Hex in the same night and enjoyed it more. Jona Hex is one of those so bad it's good films.

How to train your dragon is a amazing use of 3d, pixar could learn from. This wad not an Oscar but the end message of there is no victory with consequence was so refreshing in a kids film, well any film, reminds me of the ending to a cartoon/anime from my childhood technoman Blade.

Killers, dinner for schmucks and from Paris with love are all rentals not great but not worst film quality, that was Vampires Suck but at least it wasn't trying unlike social network, I think the social network was trying.

Cop Out was as it name implies, did even get 20 minutes into it.

Couldn't watch the Town because of the bad accents, FYI I loved Gone Baby Gone and was looking forward to the Town.

If Ironman 2 was last year I remove my 4 star review because I rewatched ironman 1 last week and the effects, story and acting wad better.

My comments, in no particualr order:

-Very surprised to see Stone in your top ten. Seen the trailer and it looks okay, only at 49% on RT.

-Never heard of Micmacs before now, but your Blu-ray review makes me really want to see it.

-Happy to see Inception, my fav of 2010, as your #2. What you talkin bout, Leon?

The worst movie I saw this year so far was that Open Season 3. It was just a straight to DVD release so I don't know if it counts.

I'm surprised that Alice in wonderland wasn't on your worst list.

Splice would be in my runners up. I thought that movie was vastly underrated.
