Crow Reboot Moving along quickly after Settlement

Vareity and reports that the crow reboot is under way after the  court battle during last year. They already have a Writer, Jesse Wigutow and a Director, F. Javier Gutierrez. Casting is still up in the air but an amazing comeback after Star Bradely Cooper(Midnight Meat Train, Hangover series)  and previous Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks later) dropped out of the project.

Here's some pre-production concepts of purposed looks for Bradley via Bloody-Disgusting by comic artist Diego Latorre:

Release Window is unknown as is much else about the current project.

Because the original movie changed a lot man I made a Blog post on it a while ago, the brandon lee movie changed a lot of charater motivations, invovlment level and even the leads weakness. If this even has half of what was in the graphic novel then I'd say it deserves the crow name more then Brandon Lee's movie

The idea I get, I really do.  Having been unjustly murdered and coming back to the land of the living to avenge the murders of you and your soul mate.  But why put the Crow name on it?  The Crow was done and done well the first time.  Any name recognition from using The Crow will not benefit this movie as those that know don't want another one or a redo.  If you have to pay for the coming back to life story from James O'Barr, then fine, but call it something else and make some changes to the story.
