The trailer for the new Takashi Miike ('Ichi the Killer', 'Audition') film '13 Assassins' has been released. The period action piece takes place at the end of Japan's feudal era and follows a group of thirteen Ronin who knowingly walk into a losing battle against 200 warriors in order to prevent an evil tyrant from ascending to the throne.The film arrives in theaters on April 29th:

The first look at Paul W.S. Anderson's adaptation of 'The Three Musketeers' has been released and is pretty much everything that you've come to expect from the 'Resident Evil' director. The 3D film stars Matthew MacFadyen, Ray Stevenson and Luke Evans as the three legendary Musketeers and Logan Lerman as D'Artagnan. Looking more like "Musketeers meet The Matrix", the film combines action, special effects, huge explosions, and of course, the director's wife (Milla Jovovich) kicking some slow-motion ass. The film is slated for release on October 14th:

13 Assassins is a GREAT movie. Saw it on the Playstation network, before it comes out in theaters and it's a wonderful flick. Generally, Carlyle's tastes in movies differ so much from mine, but I think he hit the nail on the head, with this one. If you're a fan of 7 Samurai, but wish the movie itself was much shorter, and had much more bloodier battle scenes, this movie is the one...oh, and with 6 more samurai as well...well, 5 more samurai and a bandit...

The 3 Musketeers, however, looks like more 3D catering bullshit. All style, no substence or story. ".. to stop the apocalypse."... Really?!.. I'll pass.

@XxCraftyxX There may not be another movie with Tony Jaa Unfortunately. He has become an ordained Buddhist monk. I am not sure for how long he has set his vows for. But it will be a long time before we see another movie with him in it if we ever do.
