Work's been infuriatingly slow. I'll probably have to take a pay advance just to make rent. Getting paid strictly commission can really suck. There's no holiday pay and the slow season is so stressful. I'm happy that I got to go home, but taking that much time off plus paying for the trip is just too much. I think I'll stay here for the rest of the year, including the summer. If anything, I'd like to go on a camping trip within driving range. I haven't been camping in years.

A girl came into the shop inquiring about tattoo removal. She had a dime sized Q on her ring finger, which was the initial of her ex boyfriend. She was very distraught that removal would take many sessions and possibly cost $1000 when all was said and done. I think we should make a pamphlet about tattoo removal just so people understand more about it when getting a tattoo in the first place. A suprising amount of people think that a small tattoo is easily reversed. It's extremely long, painful, and costly.

I showed her how I could turn the Q into a rose. She said she had to think it over.

Graham suddenly became depressed at a jam session when his bandmates removed their shirts and he noticed that he is the least fit out of all of them. Now he is very lean...just not extremely defined anymore since his work is not as busy as it usually is in the winter. Now he's on a mission to become a beefy man-cake by March. He's sworn off beer for the next month and has taken to doing endless crunches and backwards push-up things.

I'm hoping that some health nuttiness will rub off on me and maybe I'll get toned by osmosis. Either way, I know what to get him for his birthday now, which is nice because it's in ten days and I was getting worried. I just have to figure out where to put a bench and dumbells. I'll probably have to take out an advance to pay for that as well.
