Mark Wahlberg in 'Contraband'

'Contraband' is a remake of an Icelandic thriller about a former smuggler turned security guard (played by Mark Wahlberg) who is enticed back to his old habits due to his financial woes. Another point of motivation is his wife's brother, who lost the package he was running for his truly evil boss, played by Giovanni Ribisi.The film will be in theaters January 13th, 2012.

As average as this looks...since it comes out in January I will probably end up seeing it just because there aint shit-else in January. I'm sure this wont be anything great, but it will be some type of escapism I guess (just like every other movie).
After The Fighter I was hoping he would stick with more dramatic roles like that, or atleast something like The Departed since he was hilarious and equally badass in that film...don't go back to action movies ALL the time please. I mean I know he has a comedy coming out again which will probably be fun...but this...needs a new trailer atleast lol.
