I was fortunate enought to catch this flick at Sundance this year and had the best time. It's not only everything I wanted from a spoof film but it drew inspiration from many blackploitation movies I love. Writer and actor Michael Jai White and director Scott Sanders talk about the authentic look of the film, their working relationship, and the international appeal of the black action hero
man i saw the trailer for this just over a year ago and have been waiting since then to see it. Glad to see it finally got picked up and got a release date. Awesome job Korey for paneling these guys

I almost have to block this film from my mind so that I don't ruin it for myself when I DO see it. From the trailer, White played the shit out of that role son.
This movie looks great. And after hearing the interview it sounds like they made a comedy who is gonna feed off of the hilarity of oldschool 70s movies. I'm kinda hoping its like Mad tv's 70s movies spoofs with aries spears, With maybe a little more Plot. And that scene with the old lady is insane!
yeah i didn't mean to come off so harshly, i think it was very good interview, like most of your interviews, and i 'am glad you have talk about this movie the past year ,it a smaller movie that needs the word of mouth.
There are films that I saw that were just ok, but as I think about them and see them more I tend to really warm up to them...case in point...The Incredibles. I didn't care much for it in the theatre but as I've seen it more on TV I love it now.
I was really impressed with the costumes from the trailer...I want to see this film. Good interview, Korey!
Recently, on LDT, Korey expressed feelings about leaving Spill. He said that he had felt this way before and this feeling is now more serious than before.
My hope is that this group will show Korey how much we appreciate him and what he does for us.
