Clifton Collins Jr. has signed onto the supernatural film "Hellbenders", to be directed by J.T. Perry.

Collins - who most of you will recognize from a variety of his awesome roles such as El Huron in "Crank 2", or one of the two Vegan Police in "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" - will be part of "a secret group of elite demonologists in a Brooklyn diocese who battle a terrifying supernatural force that threatens their lives and faith".

Written by Perry, the film also stars Clancy "The Kurgan" Brown, and comedic actor Dan Fogler ("Balls of Fury") and will be shot in 3D. Perry also recently wrote the wild west demon film "The Burrowers", and worked with Platinum Dunes to script "Inherit the Earth", the film adaptation of the IDW comic "Zombies Vs. Robots".

@ivan_lois Just cause he's in something terrible doesn't make him terrible. Like Stephanie said with Boondock Saints 2, bad movie, good performance. It all depends on the director and the script. Plus, brothah's gots to get paid, shitty project or not.

Oh, he was great in Sunshine Cleaning and I liked him in Boondock Staints 2, even though that movie wasn't that great.  Maybe he will start to be given more work because he can be really good.

Sounds like a blast. Plus, Clancy Brown gets more work outside of being Mr. Krabs. :D
