Chronicle Trailer. Amazing new superhero style movie
There I was just watching some random youtube video and there I get an add for this amazing trailer for this movie. I decided to look it up and wow. It look s extremely badass. Take a look.
Chronicles: Three friends who gain superpowers from a mysterious substance turn on one another when personal problems arise.
I hope fungusmonkey sees this and posts it up on the main page because I would love to see the spill communitys reactions to this

Superhero? Um...no. This film seems to be targeting "average kids get powers and one goes nuts' story that films like The Craft, Push or Jumper have used over and over.
What I see here is three guys get telekinesis from something underground and act...well...like idiots, pulling nasty pranks and even sexual harassing a girl because HEY, THEY CAN! Then when one of them starts to become more destructive than the others, they suddenly have a problem with it.
This isn't a superhero movie, it's a film that thinks that superheroes are unrealistic because it believes human beings are ALL douchebags and if given powers or abilities beyond mortal kin, they will abuse it at the earliest opportunity.

This looks like it might be really good. I love the first half of the trailer, because that's exactly what I would do with telekinesis: fuck with people :P
