There are many different types of films, the good ones, the okay ones, the bad ones, and the great ones. It is very rare you see a movie that you consider flawless. It is even rarer you see a movie that you consider a masterpiece. "The Hurt Locker" is a rare type of film. "The Hurt Locker" is a masterpiece. This may be the BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN. It is a F***ing shame that a movie like Transformers 2 gets put together without any thought and make 800 million worldwide and yet this movie, I could tell they put in tons of time every night just trying to make every seen intense and perfect and yet this movie should be making 200 million and not Wolverine or Transformers.
This movie is no doubt the most intense experience I have ever had. I literally had my hands on my knees wondering what would happen. Kathryn Bigelow's direction is the main reason why this movie is so intense but it would not be the movie it was without it performances. Both Jeremy Renner and Anthony Mackie are both Oscar worthy. It would be a crime if this movie does not get nominated for best picture. This movie was FLAWLESS; it is one of the top 3 movies of the past 10 years. If you have a chance see this, as a matter of fact if you go see something else buy a ticket for this. If there was a way to give a movie a 11/10 I would but a 10 is okay to.
10/10
