It wouldn't be a proper Fourth of July without Captain America! Recently released, here is a few brief excerpts from the 'Captain America: The First Avenger' official soundtrack featuring the incredible score by musical legend Alan Silvestri, famed composer of such classic scores such as 'Back to the Future' and 'Predator':

This is all pretty good. I've often been told that a sucessful movie theme orchestral score will be one where you can imagine hearing the name of the movie sung in the music. In the Superman and Star Wars music you can really hear it. I can someone here it in this. But, I might have to listen to it a few more times.

Dam, the first 15 seconds brought back Back To The Future memories. Then a few second's later I thought we were searching for Predator...I'm sold. I'll download...purchase, I meant purchase this album....*slowly backs out of room*
Its a real shame "America F*ck Yeah" and "MAGNITED STATES OF AMERICA" aren't bonus tracks lol

When you really listen you can tell that its Alan Silvestri composing the music. There are hints and sounds that remind me so much of the Predator score. This movie is shaping up to have a pretty sweet soundtrack.
Btw, when I first saw the Red Skull I wasn't so sure but the more I see him the trailers he is looking like a bad ass.

Not sure if anyone else had brought this up yet but I wanted to know; did anyone else notice in trailers that the Captain had a triangular shaped shield at some point?

I completely agree with you! Mummy 1 and 2 are a huge guilty pleasure of mine and half of it's because of the OST. It's spectacular. and I thought I was the only one? I like a few of Hans Zimmer's tunes but he's VERY repetitive and definitely sticks to a formula.

Actually, no. It was Alan Silvestri who composed the score for Predator. John Debney did the score for Robert Rodriguez's reboot.
