I doubt that Loki will be in the film at all, in order to do that they'd be doing a supervillain team up which is kind of lame, I'd prefer a supervillain that can challenge all of them, like Galactus, Dr. Doom or the Skrulls! The problem with those guys is they're all the Fantastic Four's rogues and hence contracted to Fox! :(

 

Also people what a lot of you seem to be forgetting is the difference between a comic book character and a movie star, in order for the super villains to team up they'd need to get all the co-stars back for the Avengers, which would be expensive so they'd probably take the more effective route and just add some new Avengers villains from the comic.

 

Also the last important thing is, before Thor showed up and Captain America was found in the ice, before any of the interconnected Marvel movie universe became what it was, Nick Fury recruited Tony Stark for the Avengers initiative at the end of Ironman 1, so that means that before any of this happened there was some sort of threat that Fury needed to prepare the workl for, so it would probably be something much worse! Besides in this timeline the US government never became aware of Loki's existence and as far as they're concerned the Red Skull has been dead for a long time!

since i've never read any of the actual avengers comics I'm limited in my knowledge of what happens with the collective group but i know deadpool worked with superheroes from the avengers i just didn't know he was actually in the comic at any point in time.

why is it that thor looks different that in his movie?.... was this costume cheaper or something??. just saying if you're going to bring them all together might as well keep the same costumes. but i can understand if they did that purposely cuz its a diffrent film. just bothers me a bit

I haven't Made Mine Marvel since the AGE OF APOCALYPSE and ONSLAUGHT sagas. As a primarily DC fan, I'm downright jealous of the success Marvel has had with these films. They've essentially beaten DC to the JUSTICE LEAGUE movie, and they didn't take the easy way out with a single first appearance for the entire team. I'm hoping for nothing but success with this.

 

And the success Marvel's had with these heroes, and their return to the Spider-Man franchise, has me hopeful that DC won't let GREEN LANTERN's less than stellar box office bench him indefinitely and go back to relying only on the World's Finest.

Also of course my mind would go there but... is it bad that I automatically thought of The Spy from TF2 when Samuel L. Jackson said "Gentlemen..."?

@Chris Bartel: Deadpool has worked WITH the Avengers at points, but never been a member I believe.

 

@Boris: I think at least one of the Avengers villains will be Loki...which fits because the FIRST Avengers villain was Loki.
