Torn between this or Halo 4, ive been playing the Cod series since the beginning and to be fair i believed it peaked at modern warfare 1 and has just had nothing new to give since, and really, why should it. Stick with what works(£). But hey, i do like innovation and new mechanics/variation to the gameplay so i have been with the battlefield series since BC2. Ive not played Halo since reach and found it to be a great change to the "serious" fps so will probably opt for halo 4. If people decided to skip on Black ops 2 would they be forced to change things up, perhaps. will it happen? definitely not. . . . unfortunately
Spec ops > black ops.
I'll never play a Call of Duty the same way again after playing Spec Ops: The Line.
There are a ton of options to getting into MP as a new player. Combat Training eases you in by playing against Bots and League Play matches you against players of similar skill level after playing 5 games. As for Zombies, it's not meant to be streamlined. Zombies is meant to be intentionally vague to promote exploration and experimentation with multiple playthroughs. That said, most of your guys' criticism of the mode is fair, minus saying it was just thrown together without much thought, it's just a mode that's not for you and that's fine. The beauty of Black Ops II is there seems to be a bit of something for anyone.
Just got the game the other day, lvl 30 zombies, lvl 16 MP, not very far in campaign, but I stopped playing maybe 6 months after BLK OPs 1 release. Getting back into it easily. It's not hard and no one has fun until they are just not shit enough to kill one person, then it's fucking addictive.
Looking forward to playing this on the weekend. But not the humping I will get on multiplayer. Good review guys.
I liked the Avenged Sevenfold song.
Have to agree with the guys at the end, highly dislike Avenge Sevenfold in general let alone in this game.
I like all the Avenge Sevenfold stuff I've heard, but I have to admit that I didn't like that song. Then again, Treyarch does this stupid thing with licensing a new song with the game. That Eminem song did not fit BO1 at all. They should have stuck with 60s music
