'Cabin in the Woods' - Truth or Dare Clip
A lot has been said about the spoilery marketing for Drew Goddard's 'The Cabin in the Woods.' The film, co-written by 'The Avengers' Joss Whedon, has surprises crucial to its overall experience and too often these surprises are unapologetically revealed in the trailers and clips leading up to the film's release. That's why I made sure to watch this most recent clip before posting it. I can guarantee you that this clip spoils nothing, but does give you a sense of the characters' group dynamic. Oh, and if that cellar door looks familiar, it's because Joss specifically had the titular cabin designed to look just like the one in Sam Raimi's iconic 'Evil Dead.' Take a look at the trailer below and let us know what you think.

You know, with Joss Whedon on board, I thought this would be more smart - you know, avoiding "Dead Teenager" movie tropes - or playfully deconstructing them. But, well . . . "Oh look, a dark hole that just made an ominous noise! LET'S CHECK IT OUT!" Yeah, not really. I guess I'll see what the critics think.
