Brutal Legend Demo Impressions

This is one of the many hilariously memorable lines uttered in Tim Schaefers "Brutal Legend". This game hellishly funny, with Jack Black delivering the best performance I've ever... heard him in. The game's script is sharp as nails, with the beginning cut-scene making fun of the new age "Metal" bands with the pansy-ass singers and DJ's and all that stupid shit. (SPOILER: They all die in the first cutscene. Made my day) The gameplay is pretty cool, although lacking a jump button, which took a little bit of getting used to. You swing your Axe with A and electrocute and light people on fire with X, all stemming from your guitar. It's basic, but fun nonetheless. The driving segment and end mini-boss of the demo are both deliciously Brutal with Jack Black spewing insults and curse words galore. If you're not getting the game for the gameplay, at least get this game for the story. I can not wait for October 13th... or as the ads are saying, Rocktober 13th.
