If it's crap... We'll tell you

Source: Variety

Variety reports that Fox Searchlight and Danny Boyle are set for their next collaboration, 127 Hours, a film that tells the story of mountaineer Aron Ralston.

The film tells the tale of Ralston, whose right forearm got pinned for nearly five days under a boulder during a climb in Utah in May 2003. He used a dull knife to amputate the limb, then scaled a 65-foot sheer wall and hiked out before running into a family that gave him water and food. He was finally rescued by helicopter.

Boyle will direct the film with Simon Beaufoy writing the script, and production will begin next year for a late 2010 release.

We already know the entire story though. It's been on TLC and The Discovery Channel a thousand times.

I think i saw the documentary of this! Actually no it was a guy who got his legs pinned after he went for a slash in the night and a boulder fell on him!
the worst bit was while he was pinned these fresh water crayfish - basically nasty little lobster f*kers! were nipping chunks out of his bare feet!

Hooray!

Now its off to get lost in Utah. But seriously, stupid tourists should just stick with the tour guides.
Damn must of been a boring 127 hours.

"Sounds like an amazing story of incredible courage that I can't believe hasn't been made into a documentary." - Dr Detfink

Not to be an ass Doc but being a person that lives in Colorado, where we get alot of idiot tourists that like to hike but leave their brains at home, this sounded like a dumb ass going off the trail by himself and wasting the time and money of search and rescue teams.
