While right now I can't think of any of the million examples, you know what I'm talking about and that I'm right. It seems far too common that we are let down by the big reveal.
He's got the hero right where he wants him.. He's smart... he's witty.. he's brilliant.. and while we're fine with him not killing the hero immediately and adding a scene that can usually make or break a movie.. we're just pissed when he drops the bomb on his plans..
Real Estate...
Like the Century 21 Broker from Hell.. he's ripped the city/world half to shit because he wants to sell condo's to hipster douche bags and Florida retirement homes.
Lex Luthor : One of the most brilliant minds in the DC universe.. In the movies? fuckin bumbling huckster trying to blow shit up and have the government suddenly forget to arrest him while he collects his rents..
M.Bison (Legend of Chun li ): Powerful Russian (maybe) Dictator Bad ass with Mystical power driven by his intense even nature and psychotic rage/drive dressed in a communist garb... In this shit? An abandoned Irish orphan (who starts out as a Chinese baby) who grows up to command an ex-boxer who can't seem to remember how to box and a asian chick who seems to be attracted to the most absurdly dressed women in the club (Watch the Club Scene in Legend of Chun li and pay close attention to how she dances and is dressed and try not to laugh I DARE YOU)... all the while planning a massive land grab from a shitty river front village he thinks will bring in tourism dollars (Sure.. just what the world wants.. fuckin Disneyland in a swamp with giant mosquitoes and bird flu.. great..)
I don't want this to go on forever.. you get my fuckin point..
