I am really getting excited for Ridley Scott's 'Prometheus.' The kind-of-sort-of prequel to 'Alien' looks to be spectacular sci-fi on an epic scale. Like the breathtaking pic we posted earlier this month, this gorgeous hi-res image of the titular ship itself was just recently revealed...and not easily. Apparently it was revealed through a strange viral marketing campaign that required users to add the names of ancient Sumerian cities to website addresses. So enjoy the image below, because apparently it wasn't easy to come by:

'Prometheus' hits theaters June 8th.

And this looks like the Space Jockey doing something with a green light/goo.

This from the trailer looks like they could be examining the Space Jockey's head.

No. It's not like Serenity; you know, aside from having engines.

Not too sure to be honest but quite possible, at the time he was working on  a few film projects as a freelancer.

But its a pretty interesting connection.

He must work at PCA, I probably dealt with his scans. :)

The work he did that I know of involved polishing up some  environments e.g a ship that were scanned as sets and needed to be made into 3D models.

@BlaK CyClops aw sweet, what did he work on? I was a modeller on the show, I built the center body of the Prometheus spacecraft. Took 5 weeks. Worked with 2 other people :). Most awesome model I've ever worked on.

At the very least this will be a gorgeous film with good acting.
