If it's crap... We'll tell you

Source: US Magazine

US Magazine recently heard from Transformers director Michael Bay, who responded to some negative comments that Megan Fox said about him and his latest film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Fox told Entertainment Weekly: "I mean, I can't s--- on this movie because it did give me a career and open all these doors for me. But I don't want to blow smoke up people's a--. People are well aware that this is not a movie about acting."

Bay responded, saying, "Well, that's Megan Fox for you. She says some very ridiculous things because she's 23 years old and she still has a lot of growing to do. You roll your eyes when you see statements like that and think, 'Okay Megan, you can do whatever you want. I got it'."

As for the film itself, Bay says he "100 percent disagrees" with Fox.

"Nic Cage wasn't a big actor when I cast him, nor was Ben Affleck. before I put him in Armageddon. Shia LaBeouf wasn't a big movie star before he did Transformers -- and then he exploded. Not to mention Will Smith and Martin Lawrence, from Bad Boys," he points out.

Bay also thinks Fox could be a little more grateful: "Nobody in the world knew about Megan Fox until I found her and put her in Transformers. I like to think that I've had some luck in building actors' careers with my films."

This guy is such a douche. :D But yeah, Megan... Don't blame your lazy ass sleepwalking performance on the movie ;) It's not a movie that requires acting but if you're *can* act, you can at least try to make the best out of a poorly written role. Which Megan Fox couldn't, even if her life would depend on it.

To everybody who's saying Megan Fox can't act, I agree, but she hasn't really been given a role that requires her to act yet. Wait until Jonah Hex, and then see if she can act.

Anyone who is judgemental of Megan Fox based on one vague statement she made during an interview might benefit from some self-reflection.

I find Bay's reaction pretty interesting tho. He thinks she is ungrateful because she gave an honest response in an interview. If someone gave me such an opportunity I would be quite grateful, but I wouldn't feel obligated to lie, steal, and cheat for their benefit. Maybe it would have been better career-wise for her to have better dodged that question, but she doesn't have an obligation to Michael Bay just because he deigned to use her as eye candy in a couple of his movies.

Didn't Nicolas Cage win that Oscar for "Leaving Las Vegas" before doing "The Rock" with Michael Bay?

megan did say it right, but it was dumb to slam her own movie (even if it was just implyed)

Bay is an asshole but he knows how to make summer blockbusters.
