'Battle Royale' Mondo Poster
In an effort to send you happily off into your weekend, we present to you with the Mondo poster for Kinji Fukasaku's 'Battle Royale.' The Austin-based movie art masters have teamed artist Kevin Tong with the creator of the 'Scott Pilgrim' comics, Bryan Lee O'Malley to create a truly unique poster for the cult classic. Mondo has also partnered with Tugg, the site that allows movie fans to set up their own screenings at their local multiplexes, to bring 'Battle Royale' to The Alamo Drafthouse Vintage Park in Houston on February 16th. For ticket information, click here. I like the marriage between 'Scott Pilgrim' neo-anime and the uber violent satire that is 'Battle Royale.'
