-Meeting Joel Hodgson, Frank Conniff, and Mary Jo Pehl as well as getting them to sign my copy of MST3K The Essentials DVD. Call me a geek, but it felt unbelievably awesome to shake Joel Hodgson's hand.
-Watching Frank Conniff dive face first into a parfait.
-Listening to Dwayne McDuffie (producer and writer on Static Shock and Justice League animated series) give commentary and answer questions. You wouldn't know it from the way he talks, but he was very funny. He also may have made a slight hint at the next DC animated movie in production though he had to keep very hush-hush on the subject.
-Attending the Quentin Tarantino panel and receiving a chart of all the movies he has written, directed or starred in (except his cameos in Sleep With Me and Muppet's Wizard of Oz).
-Hanging out with Carlyle himself for the majority of the con in addition to attending his panels. Nothing much to say except he's a pretty cool guy to hangout and talk with. It was BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTASTIC!
-Checking out just about every room party in the cabana area. As Carlyle has mentioned, the Romulan party was the best with hard drinks and stripping geeks. This was made all the more entertaining with Carlyle in the room who did flash me a bit of chest :)
-Watched some Turkish Spider-Man in the Cinematic Apocalypse room.
-Turned the knob in the Vampire Hunters Union Tech Room to Ludicrous Speed (and went to plaid).
-Got my fix at the House of Toast. Here is what I had on mine
Thursday: chocolate frosting, strawberries, sprinkles
Friday: anchovy paste, baked beans, cinnamon
Saturday: anchovy paste, baked beans, tuna
Side Note: On Saturday the anchovy paste went down my throat wrong and I ended up sounding like Harvey Weinstein for about five minutes.
-TWO nights of fireworks on both Friday and Saturday.
-There was a man dressed as Zardoz. I kid you not.
-And, of course, the best part, catching up with old friends and making new ones.
