The Legend of Drunken Master is the sequel to the 1978 film Drunken Master. Legend of the Drunken Master is a film that counties the story of Wong Fei-hung, do to a mix up Fei-hung falls into a fight against foreigners who wants to remove artifacts out of China and into a glass box. through this fight Fei-hung finds himself having to fight the foreigners and trying to obey his fathers wish's and trying not to dishonor his families name.
This film is a can't miss for any martial art film fans. the action is fast and intense. The humor is blended very well with the emotional scene's. There is no real down time in this film, something interesting is always happening and you don't have to shut off your brain to understand or care about the characters. The Dimension DVD i have has a well done English dub actors which really helps keep you (the viewer) invested with the story and the characters throughout that story.
The Good The Bad The Weird (2008): Starring Kang-ho Song, Byung-hun Lee and Woo-sung Jung

The Good the Bad the Weird follows a train robber, a killer for higher, and a bounty hunter tied up in a crazy daze for a map that leads to a great treasure that can change the men's life forever. taking place in the 1930's Manchuria, the area is filled with gangsters, bandits, and the Japanese army fighting for the control of the land. After the word of the map hits the great vine Manchuria is turned to a all out war gets the attention of all the low lives and bad men throughout the lands.
The Good the Bad the Weird is a tones of fun film to sit down a enjoy by yourself or with friends. Act 1 and act 3 are filled with great shoot outs as for act 2 there is a slight down point of this act but is quickly brought back with a great shootout that is one of the best of this film. The story is strong and with a good twist that shows the viewer's how this three men are link together. the IFC films DVD that i have only comes with English subtitles and plays in it's original Korean language. overall this film is a great sit down action western that hits on every level.
Fearless (2006): Starring Jet Li
Running Time Approx: 104 minutes
Jet Li's Fearless is about the real life Chinese hero Huo Yuanjia. Throughout this film we (the viewer's) follow the rise and fall and the redemption of a man that killed a man in a fight destroying this business and families reputation. Becoming a homeless man drifting through the country side trying to find something to steer him in the right way. After finding himself and understanding what martial art is about he (Huo Yuanjia) returns to this home town to see that the Japanese taken control of his land. Yuanjia knows that he must take act to stop the Japanese by inspiring his people to stand up and be prove to be Chinese.
This film is a great part of art. the fight sense are out standing and the pacing flows together nicely. the story is strong and really draws you in and by the end you feel for the character and what he as been through. If you are a fan of martial arts film's this is a must watch, it is hard to find a good action film with a great story that over shadows the action within the film. You can't pass this one up.
