Haha Domhnall Gleeson who plays Levin actually did play one of Ron Weasley's brothers.

The performances and script just didn't express the depth and meaning of the novel. Once you get past the pretty visuals there isn't much there to grab onto. RENTAL - a pretty but dull adaptation of one of my favourite novels.

From the trailers, this movie seems a lot like the Bolshoy Ballet version of "Anna Karenina" that toured around in the 1980's.  That would explain the theater type setting.

omg, I take back what I said about RottenTomatoes' verdict and me wanting to see this.....I walked out of the theater after the middle, I fell asleep
I had to leave cause this movie was losing me, I'm like enough people, stop laying your problems on me
good acting and visuals aside this is one of the most droll, uninteresting films I've seen

I had a Manager , and his name was Karenina, i didnt know how to say it so i called him Katrina.

I hate the English pronunciation of "Karenina," its so annoying, would have been better to stick with Russian.

You have the name Karen, you have the name Nina.   Karen ends in the same sound as Nina starts.  KareNina.  That's how I was taught to say pronounce it growing up...

At 6:05 in the review, Korey says he could care less about the love story. That means he must care about it to some degree. I think you meant to say "Couldn't care less", which would imply your level of care is already at the minimum possible amount.
