If it's crap ... We'll tell you

Source: Fangoria

Fangoria reports that Dimension Films, currently getting ready to release Rob Zombie's H2 and also developing the on-again-off-again remake of Hellraiser, will be going ahead with a remake of John Landis' An American Werewolf in London, who sold the rights of the film last week.

The Blu-ray edition of Landis' groundbreaking 1981 film may still arrive this fall, which is rumored to include Paul Davis' feature-length doc, Beware the Moon: Remembering 'An American Werewolf in London'.

Why? Come on this movie is not even old. I was born in 1987 and I think I seen some of this movie. They should remake old movies not one that is 28 years old.

people need to direct their anger at John Landis. If he didn't sell out his soul this would not have happened.

I live 2 doors away in London (true) from where the house was in South Kensington were the original was made. Watching it again recently the film (although had great human to werewolf transformation special FX) feels a bit 1980s, I like the start of the film in the Yorkshire Moors and the bit at the middle with the romance and the humour i.e. running naked home from London Zoo, the ending I thought was a little weak. I think it should be left alone. No need to take it's name, just do something different with werewolfs in London.

The advances in special effects technology today will NOT enhance any attempt in a remake of AAWL because I despise CGI in my horror flicks.

If they use practical effects then I'll approve, but I'm not sure if I can allow it....

Recently, on LDT, Korey expressed feelings about leaving Spill. He said that he had felt this way before and this feeling is now more serious than before. My hope is that this group will show Korey how much we appreciate him and what he does for us.
